About Us
In January 2014 Jeff and I met in Florida by accident. I was on a girls' weekend with my two friends, Tiffany and Audra. They were looking for a weekend of girl time away from the kids and adulthood and I (mid-40s and single) was happy to oblige and spend time with them at my parents' condo, conveniently located in Ft. Lauderdale.

While having burgers and a couple of beers at Deano's Bar and Grill (now gone) Jeff, who'd been sitting with a group of Hell's Angels, decided to save us from a surly drunk guy who wouldn't leave us alone. Turns out, after business meetings in Mexico, he was taking a week off work to check out a trawler yacht he'd seen online. He was boat-obsessed and always knew he'd see the world by sea once he retired.

Suffice to say the girl's weekend ended up with a plus one and despite being of the male persuasion he fit right in and we all enjoyed getting to know him.
Seven and a half years later we are married, he's retired, we saved enough to buy Belvedere (in Spain) and we untied the lines in Sant Carles de la Rapida (4th August 2021) and have begun our latest adventure.
